Any one have any experiences with the “Echo Master” by Death By Audio?
Looks amazing, essential gear if one is the vocalist in a Butthole Surfers cover band. Or perhaps a toasting DJ?

necro thread bump. 4 years later, has anyone tried the Echo Master for vocals? How noisy is it? There’s like 1 YT video where it sounds fab and yet the comments are all like “mine has high floor noise” and “how do you get it to sound so quiet?”
I found a thread on another board where DBA suggested them to use a “Shure Impedance Matching Transformer” with Echo Master.
So… any fav alternatives for a dead-simple vocal delay device my drunk a$$ can use live? Thanks!

Don’t have an Echo Master, have had lots of fun with the OBNE Maw - it’s got the echo stuff plus any number of other Gibby Haynes-style nonsense. But despite that it’s all pretty straightforward to use. It depends what sort of performances you want it for I guess.
An absolute scream of a pedal. It’s still in my teenage son’s kitbag. Having said that, it’s not really designed for people with concerns about noise floors or subtlety. So couldnt really express a view on whether it would do the trick for you. But it’s definitely worth a try.
Also the best pedal demo video ever created. Which screams drunk-assed-ness fwiw…
