I find a really cool little tool. only 5 bucks but a real keeper to me there’s also MNotepad | MeldaProduction but i love the one from Lyons
You can put timestamp to not forgot fix, construction idea to try the next session. You can make your rough balance and final balance screenshots and load it in the plugin so you never loose track of your balance values… when you click on the image it will show the image in a box in full resolution. And you can export data as well. Simple but i love it ! especially on Bitwig as there’s no text box like Ableton Live and i use it everytime.
Thanks! I could use this as well. I have a spot in my little house where this studio desk will fit nicely. Less swapping synths in and out!
Now I’m perusing the Monoprice site to see what the options are, if any, for mounting attachments for that studio desk, so I can put the monitor speakers somewhere else, and save the top surface for the Matriarch.
Sweetwater sells these, but I have a feeling Ikea or the like have something similar at less than “pro” prices
All my junk is on a sit/stand desk and I didn’t want to spend $100 on those. I had cheap adjustable floor stands for my monitors, and I attached those to a C-clamp with a handful of hose clamps. The C-clamps attach to my desk. Works great, dirt cheap, looks terrible.
50% off amp sims at Neural DSP, ending todayish (depending on timezone). Only accepting Euros, so us Americanos will need to pay a little more. The Nolly and Cory Wong ones sound great.
I mentioned this in the Pigments thread, but probably worth mentioning here, too. As Pigments 3 has just launched, Arturia is doing an intro price of 99 euros, including the new Spectrum sound pack, which I think is a pretty good deal. Existing users get Pigments 3 free and can buy Spectrum for 19 euros.
As in, there are a few excluded ones? Indeed, I’ll keep waiting for the Amek and Shadow Hills Class A to get a low enough sale… But today I got VSM-3 and Townhouse for a combined total of £21 after I used my monthly loyalty discount code too. Good value!
I’d recommend everyone pick this up ASAP. It’s the best hardware emulation of a filter I’ve used. Stack up several, turn the resonance all the way up, and dial in the cutoff to your liking. Instant drone/texture goodness.
I’ve been grabbing plugin alliance deals for the past 6 months. I now have 23 (not including free ones). So far, very impressed!
One question, anyone else having issue getting Lindell Pex 500 to show up in any Mac DAW? It’s installed (au in library) but Logic and Ableton pretend it’s not there. I have a support ticket in but no response yet. Running Big Sur but their site says all apps compatible
Also try holding down the Alt key when you click rescan plugins in Ableton preferences, it forces a scan of blocked plugins apparently.
Few items from Plugin Alliance support:
Rescan your plugins in Ableton Live
Go to Options / Live > Preferences > Plug-ins („File/Folder“ in V 10.0 and below)
Set the activated Use VST3/AU Plug-In Custom/System Folders to off and directly back on.
Hold Option/Alt and click Rescan.
Please remove the license file from your hard drive. Don’t worry, this won’t cause you to lose an activation, or change your deletion count. It will just force the plugin to check in with our server and then generate a new license file. To find your license file on macOS, just go to the Finder, click on the “Go” menu, click on “Go to folder…” and then paste in this file path, exactly as it appears below:
3.~/Library/Application Support/*
Or if you’re on Windows, go to this file path, where “me” is your Window user name:
4.C:\Users\me\AppData\Roaming*
Either way, look through this directory to find the folder named “Plugin Alliance” and then throw it away. Then try to activate your plugin again.
thank you for your response. I tried all those already (from their support doc) but didn’t help. At least I know it’s just me now.
I guess I’ll go through and do them again in case I missed a step. No response from support still but they metioned being swamped due to sale.
updated Big Sur to 11.3 and now it’s showing. Strangely enough, Unfiltered Audio G8 is not validating though. Just downloaded a trial and it won’t work. Oh well, at least everything I paid for is now working.
