is it only the launchpad pro that works without using a computer or do the new models also ?
Plogue alter ego is free
Of the newest models of launchpad (MK3 and X) it’s true that only the pro has a DIN midi socket, the other two only do midi over USB, so if you want to use them without computer you need to buy a ‘USB midi host’. I think the same is true of the older models too, less sure about that.
Don’t say I never did anything for my ITB friends.
The older launchpad pro has proper midi out. It’s a damn good controller.
Indeed, it’s my main Live controller alongside a LaunchControl XL. With the Arsenal_LLP script it functions like a little Push 2.
Byome and Bx_Oberhausen which are incredibly good deals.
If anyone’s after a SEM emulation, it sounds great, definitely up there with Repro. Quite cpu intensive but worth it.
Also Byome I got to use for creative effects but ended up using it on Everything. It works great as a compressor and brick wall limiter. So it’s on all my instrument tracks and on the master. With the added ability of filtering and EQ etc for instrument tracks it’s super useful.
Pro Audio is offering an open box deal on a Nord Drum 3P for $499. I totally would have been on this but I had just picked one up yesterday from Sweetwater, but for a $100 more.

MF has the Marantz MPH-2 for $39 (off of $99) today. Headfi reviewers speak highly of these Phonic IS16 Digital Mixer | Musician's Friend

Gotta try these
Some decent prices on Amazon UK.
OP-1 858GBP
Behringer Neutron 215GBP
Volca Drum 99GBP
Spotted the OP1 yesterday. 5 sold in just under 24 hours…
Last day to grab XLN XO half price at pluginboutique. For those of you who struggle with large and chaotic drum libraries:
from where?
Was on Amazon but they just updated their price back up to over £1100 in the last two hours. Think they sold 8 or 9 at the reduced price
danke
Soundtoys Filter Freak for $39
This thing is a beast. I love it and it’s well worth the price
I already own this, just wanted to say that I love this plugin on some of my VSTs, the filters sound real nice to me and adds variety and additional options when sound designing with any given synth.
Yep, I bought the complete pack from Soundtoys. At first I was so underwhelmed and really regretted buying that. But sending already nice sounding synths through those plugins takes them most of the time to another level! Still have to learn a lot on how to use it properly.
XLN XO is also nice but definitely not worth more than the reduced price…
