Thanks for reminding me - Driver was actually very good, its the one distortion unit i regularly use. NI give aways are really good tools /toys.
Also Hive is 50% off at Native Instruments - i personally think all the UhE stuff is really good sounding.

That’s all well and good but somebody needs to tidy it up if it’s inevitably messy and tangled. So we’d decided to leave this as is. Deals are passing, there’s no harm in marking something as soft/hardware.
The alternative is to remove this thread and start again with distinct topics, but there’s no way we are running two as proposed in parallel that requires extra administration.
Browsing one mega thread is easy enough and it needs no maintenance, so separating would need coordination with the mods

I got the Arturia one hoping it would be a nice replacement for the TAL but do far i’ve been disappointed. The Arturia one seems less “transparent” but not in a good way IMO.
Lately I’ve been using the Baby Audio Magic Switch (free) when I really want to just press one button.
