Deals -- Perennial List of Things on Sale - GAS Warning!

If having to decide between the two, if you need a great sounding workhorse plugin with versatility, get Diva. If you want arguably the best sounding and most accurate Analog emulation of any synth ever released, get Repro.

Push (or Push 2 at least) is easier for mesince it has the parameters groups readily accessible with a click or two of buttons, e.g., “Filter,” “Oscillator,” etc. It isn’t terrible on my Machine MK3 with page navigation (SHIFT+VARIATION takes me to Page NAV) but it feels more cumbersome than Push. I find myself using presets much more on Maschine than on my Push 2, though neither are amazing for sound design imo.

I so wish they would release the effects from repro. I really think thats the best part of it…I mean it sounds analogue and everything, but a lot of the time the effects on that thing are it’s real power.

Well the distortion is Satin based and from what I understand the Lyrebird became their Colour Copy.

Re: the uHe FX, Satin is excellent. I love it as a slapback and as a flanger. Very deep and pronounced. Colour Copy and Twangström are also very good. They’ve got excellent modulation sections built into their effects, so things always feel sort of alive and complex. I’ve got a couple of other spring reverb plugins, but Twangström is likely my favorite. It’s not trying to be anything in particular, which I like. The plugs almost feel like instruments in themselves. They’re sort of transformative. As always, their GUI’s are very intuitive.

I’m tempted by Zebra or Hive as they’re the only ones I don’t have yet, but I’m not sure they’d get a lot of use. I don’t tend to use very sound-track-y sound with ever evolving envelopes, etc… Having said that, I just love their tools and it seems likely I’d find uses for them somewhere.

Thank you for that. I’m gonna buy the Colour Copy. Don’t know about Satin, cuz I have an Analog Heat. I have been waiting for this sale to buy it tho, cuz the demo is pretty amazing sounding.

Anyone in the UK wanting the 16-voice version of the DSI Prophet Rev 2, this is a B-stock bargain at £450 off:

Tried Colour Copy for just a few minutes and had to buy it.

I love Valhalla Delay, except for the BBD setting, which I could never get to sound close to my analog delay pedals. Colour Copy gets there with ease and seems to covers a wide range.

Only problem is I tried out TAL J-8 with it and might need to buy that as well…

Both are great, but Diva is my favorite.

These two packs show off some really cool tones you can get out of it. By the way they are on sale for the holidays as well.

And their freebies are usually quite good…

Yeah, they are. I like the free stuff I already got from them. CPU heavy stuff though, but if you commit the effects its no problem.
