DCDNT – 303 Bedouin – Live Techno / House Session on TB-03, Digitakt, Digitone, Octatrack and Analog Heat

Hey everybody! Here’s my new tune I recorded on TB-03, Digitakt, Digitone, Octatrack and Analog Heat on master.

Few interesting things:

  1. Check out the Middle Eastern melody on 1:43 - this sound is made on Digitone and I thought that it so closely resembles some real instrument that could be played on such type tracks.

  2. I used single cycle waveforms on Digitakt to create sub-bass and it works like a charm. Digitakt is a synth

  3. Long sample playback on Octatrack with 1-trig sample set to loop is a super handy way to play 3-4 minute loop as you’re performing.

  4. All top loops are made on Digitakt and recorded into Octatrack.

  5. Heat makes everything with 303 bass lines sound really deep on the low end.
