Look at older Motu stuff. You can get great interfaces from yesteryear for dirt cheap. I have the Ultralite 4, and I love it. Works great with Cv Tools, VCV Rack, and Silent Way. Only thing you cant do is bring cv back in. You’ll need a expert sleepers euro module for that.
I have a motu 8A. I only use 2 outs for audio, which leaves me 6 for cv. Those outs are balanced, so I also get 6 inverted copies which is occasionally useful. Not sure if this would be considered a cheap option. But for me it was, since I already had it for audio, so the cv outs feel like a free bonus.
Yes, they do. I own the studio 1810 and works well…I wish I had gone for the 1824 though, the 1810 only has adat in. On the 1824 you can use expert sleepers es3/es6 for extra dc coupled in/outs vía adat
What was the V/O on that. I cant remeber but I think the out is only 2v as opposed to the 5 on Motu. I could be wrong, but I had looked into buying that before I settled on the Motu.
Sorry for bringing this back to life, but A DC coupled interface connected via ADAT to the push 3 should mean that I can send CV out from it right? Never had a DC coupled interface and I’d really like to use CV tools.
