So 3 years later anyone want to share whats the best way of syncing them if you want to arrange and record a song? I’m trying to figure a way of pattern muting on the Rytm but so far nothing works as the pattern mutes on the Digitakt. I want to control the pattern flow from the OT’s arranger and not have to manually mute the Rytm everytime a pattern is changed.
Which DAW are you using? Is maintaining the grid accurately imprtant to you? Any tempo changes?
no daw, just the octatrack.
I also think I found the best way for me and namely using trig mutes variations in each pattern
Yeah if not recording then life is much easier! I like to use the /1st + nei trig probabilities across the track patterns that I want muted when patterns start, just in case I forget to mute in advance.

I’ve been using arranger/song mode on each and one of them and simply set the mutes/other in each song mode. Not sure if it’s the best - just bought my 2nd OT now and will now sequence AR/AK from the OTs.
