CZ5000 Chords in Sample Pack

For any of you Casio CZ nerds, I contributed a bunch of my CZ5000 patches in a collab sample pack. Most are minor 7+9 chords (tracks 84-107). It’s free! Enjoy!

I’m curious what you guys think of the samples.

Wonderful! I was just getting over my last lot of chord samples I made, and was looking to either make more or find some freebies. This will do Nicely. Thanks!
Chord samples sound great, cant say I will use any of the one shot drums etc, I tend not to use those types of samples much at all.

Just so you know, if the chord tones are C, Eb, G, Bb and D, the chord is called a Cm9. Once the 9 is in the name the 7th is implied. A +9 is a bit misleading and can be misconstrued as an augmented 9 aka a #9. Like in the case of C E G Bb D# you have a C7#9. Though obviously, there is no such thing as a minor chord with a #9 because that would just be the minor third again.

Once its in your sampler, music theory goes out the window :stuck_out_tongue:
#@JunkRunner thanks for the CZ samples, take a look at some Korg Mono/Poly run through a Lyra8 samples I posted recently Old Science (Free samples Mono/Poly Lyra8)

Cheers!

You are right! The 7th is in every chord. I think I named them on the Digitakt and decidedly added the “+” because a +9 without a 7th is usually easy to spot.

Might help some folks trying to work them out on the keys.
