Hey guys
Is it possible to sync the audio and MIDI from Model:Cycles and Samples using a powered USB hub with an iPhone or iPad?
As I understand it, I need to download some kind of DAW, for example GarageBand? I’m going on vacation and want to bring these funky boxes with me to jam but I don’t want to bring a mixer.
For audio out, I also need some kind of adapter, perhaps USB to 3.5 mm jack, since I’ll be using headphones.
Class Compliant audio can only do one device at a time, so if you want both you’d still need a mixer but otherwise yes, connecting them works quite well.
Slightly OT, but since you’re bringing an iPad anyway: Ess is loosely planning an iPad version of Fors Tela😁
That could make for a very fun Cycles + iPad setup without adding another piece of hardware.

Ess mentioned it in a private email reply. Not official — just “loose plans” for now
