CV Latency Problem

Anyone experienced latency when sending CV to an external device?

I’m syncing an A4 & RYTM to Live via Overbridge, they’re staying in sync perfectly but when I send volt/octave+gate from the A4 to my modular the notes play noticeably behind the A4, this happens whether I’m using the same track (say track 1) for the CV or the dedicated CV track.
It’s not an interface issue as I’ve listened to the modular before it hits the I/O and computer.

It’s driving me a bit mad, anyone know of a solution?

cv to my sh101 is pretty tight … if u need a workaround, maybe micro timing the trigs will work for u… cheers bro

Not sure if it’s related but I’ve noticed my first note has kinda a slur to it when the the sequence (slim phatty) is started sometimes. it could be cv or some midi info is sneaking into my analog delay.

never noticed that - feed your CV’d modular back into A4 directly without any USB connections and then comment on latency using snappy presets

I know I could do this but it’d be massively inconvenient and not workable when improvising live.

I’ll give this a go later today and post results.

Sorted.

I was using OB 1.1 beta before, I’ve now switched to 1.0 and it’s pretty tight. Waveforms aren’t lining up perfectly but it’s good enough on the ears.
