Just consider any knob you want to turn as going from 0 being off to 127 being all the way up…
Then consider a device needs to know what knob your talking about, so it gets a number…
Bam, that knob can now be controlled by sending cc values from 0 to 127 on the cc# of the knob…

Ya, it’s really used for initial setup for new users. There’s no complex midi/audio patchbay settings.
