ciat-lonbard style synthesis/modulation. or a rungler of some kind
damn
I’d like to create some FX as well. Can you give me some pointers into how to get started with LLM? Thanks!
As i read somewhere, that Machinedrum is actually the same machine as Monomachine inside, with just different face… My idea was if it would be possible to recreate some Monomachine engines as USR machine… That would be cool ![]()
There are worse ways to spend your time!
I love the sound of Karplus Strong synthesis, so a work-alike of the solo voice of the Strymon SuperKar+ would be nice ![]()
ask your LLM for pointers! ![]()
what’s interesting is that karplus was already possible with exploration of the pre X2.0 system with the NFX-UC. even some of @hcar cool sampling machines we could get (almost) close to these before with some deep programming (but the access MDS gives to other machines takes it all to a new place!).
Sorry if off topic but… I’ve noticed you’ve haven’t been sharing much sound. (Or maybe I’ve been looking at the wrong places?)
Your sounds were one of the main reasons I was coming here, I really love listening to what you come up with.
Looking forward to listening to what these machine FW tweaks will bring.
RAM record machines sampling each other?
we could already do this pre 2.0? not sure what you mean.
new RAM experimentation will be possible once RAM is working in MDX 2.0 (currently is not). I want to try things that somehow reference the recording buffer and play from that buffer in the same track
I can’t install USR-MACHINES.(BANK ERROR)
I thank you for good job!
I have installed the SPS-I UW+ mk2 x.20B, and it is working.
I’m trying to install the included USR-machines.
However, when I open “global edit → FILE → MACHINE MGR,” “BANK ERROR” appears on the right side of the screen, and I can’t operate the left pane. I’ve tried restarting and performing a soft reset, but nothing worked. Is there a solution?
same ![]()
The work around for this is to delete the “CORRUPT” machine bank in the Machine Bank Mgr.
Or wait for the fix in the next release.
The installation was successful.
global edirt → file → MACHBANKS → 001 CORRUPT ← ERAZE, SELECT, and RENAME [BANK 001]
After that,
I ran “global edit FILE - MACHINE MGR,” and RECV worked.
Thank you—usr-machine is beeping.
Please provide some information. The MCX.20B and Megacommand v4.43 aren’t working properly. Are they incompatible? Is there a solution?
Not yet mate, let J cook. He has said that MCL update will come out once X.20 is more stable.
I got it!
does anyone know if @JustinValer is working on trig condition amd individual step lenghts?
Do they not work? Both should be included in X.20, I haven’t been able to test yet though.
