In my humble experience the best and most flexible way to mount a monitor arm is clamping it to the table. And just to be clear; I’m talking about a computer screen stand aka “monitor stand” , not speakers.

bumping this thread as I’m in the market for a new monitor for DAW production. a curved monitor seems like a good idea. can anyone recommend a monitor around 29 inches, budget 200 - £400.

Anyone know if there’s a downside to grabbing the Samsung S65UA curved monitor?
I’ve never had a curved monitor, so I’m unsure what “1000R” would feel like. I have used curved monitors in the past and like them.
Primary use: Ableton Live - mostly mixing stage usage
Secondary use: Light video editing duties for sharing to social media.
Tertiary? Maybe use it for text-based work duties.
