This I decided to render tonight after growing bored of the loop. I’ve been interested in 4 on the floor recently. Digitone II, TD-3-MO, 2x Neutron, Blofeld.
It seems to sound pretty cool, might need to mix that.

Sweet! got any tips on making mels on the MD? I’m not used to the clunkyness since I started my hardware journey with new gen Elektrons. Atleast it feels mad rewarding when you hit a good combo of tones though

Thanks!

I use the pitch-to-note chart found here:

I find the EFM machines best as they seem to have the most range. I turn down any modulation to get to a pure tone then increase the decay to taste. Then I may reintroduce some modulation, reverb, delay, etc. I’ll use an LFO to soften the attack if needed.

Edit: I’m using 1.63, not the unofficial firmware.

Appreciate the kind words mate:-) Pads are two layers
of DN2 VA engine with unison, heavily shaped w filters.

Edit: I just realized that ones ones actually based on a factory preset thst I’ve used a LOT. Perfect for dystopian pads. Will check the name of it tomorrow.
