Morning jam

I’ve made a few sketches, but I still can’t figure out where to go.
It’s funny how in the first two tracks the kick drum is made from a regular freqshifter

Second one is giving me some good vibes, maybe focus just on one and push it.

I think it’s a broad term, as long as it coming from your machines. I usually like to push them towards finished pieces, so i can continue creating new ones. But this is how i like to operate. Other people like snippets or sound design stuff. Or just jamming on a synth.

Well: That piece is not random at all. I consider it a finished track.
I composed and arranged and recorded it.
Yes it’s current, I did it yesterday.

Aside from some lost 'nauts posting release notices (which, I still want to see and hear, but in Share Your Tunes), I think sketches and shorts jams fall within range of the intent. I’m not sure working out a track here makes the most sense though either (even if I’ve straddled the line there as well).

I would describe the first post as a jam:

Bought a DT2 two months ago and have been learning how to use it by remixing some of my old indierock songs. This was my first try.

I think you can combine 1 and 2. One of them being a bridge or breakdown for the other

Sunday morning and created a track with Baby Audio Tekno and multiple instances of the Moog Mariana. It is all built around a single C note and having some fun with the new PitchShaper in ShaperBox

This is to test different drive settings that sound very different with different speakers and headphones.

I’d say, still too much reverb, and when I listen to it compressed and from computer, mid seem to prominent. However, bass doesn’t mud up everything, this is a plus already. Want to achieve it outside DAW, but best would probably be to just give it do a mastering cascade with EQ/compressor per band in Ableton.
