Creative use of user waves?

Hello

I really love my MnM and think I have a fair knowledge of most of its machines. But there is one area I really don’t know that well, and never got to use much: the user waveforms of the Dpro machines.

I have downloaded a number of packs by Elektron and Alexkid, but found myself quite underwhelmed. I have also read things here and there about the machines using waveforms (like this excellent pseudo-sampler trick everybody has probably heard about), but I have the feeling there must be more to these machines than what I have found.

Has anybody got creative tips to share with the machines using custom waveforms?

(I’m more into glitchy stuff than techno banger)

This is one of my favourite uses of the user waves.

Building your own is pretty much where it’s at.

Both hardcore and softcore have output settings available for making MnM waves.
