cool probably will wait since I just an Eventide H90 and Sherman Filterbank 2.

yeah the impulse hit was strong with this one, gonna wait and learn and listen to more about it… it’s beautiful too

For those unable or unwilling to watch the video: there is a pretty nice website, that describes each parameter and has more sound examples.

It describes the Monk Echo as a duet of a blooming, luscious reverb and a precise delay, which are shaped by morphing formant filters tuned to the resonant frequencies of the human voice.

3.5mm jacks :triumph:

The transparentSea has:

  • 2 panable stereo delay lines

  • Chorus

  • Tremolo

  • Heat (Saturation)

  • Reverb

  • High and low cut filter with adjustable resonance

  • A midi quantized or free form stutter

  • Fancy flashy RGB LEDs that give visual feedback

  • Nice and clicky MX blue switches for the buttons

  • Midi in and out/thru via midi TRS type A

  • USB C power and firmware updates

All time based effects can be synced via midi clock or tap tempo.

All effects are programmable via midi cc and it also sends out midi cc so it can act as a midi controller.

We currently have 10 units being road tested by professional musicians, feedback has been great so far.

Hey All, I have DT2 and DN2 ans looking to add some kind of effects unit. What are you guys using ans what do you recommend, especially as a beginner? Currently the one I’ve seen that seems most interesting is the microcosm. Also kind of thinking to just wait till I can get enough money to buy a TV.

Chroma Console is dead simple yet interesting enough. Lot of character, not much control.

What is your favorite music style?

let them know how you feel, might not be too late to change that

I purchased one of these and then cancelled before I received it – There was rumors of some sort of frippertronics mode being put in with firmware update – not sure if that happened.

I do love how most guitar pedal board demos sound like an upscale church performance – I blame the Strymons

I just uploaded a video from a gig where I used the kaos pad and the pioneer efx 1000. In the very beginning you can hear a snippet from the previous song looped with the kaos pad and at 1:10 I use the EFX 1000 to transition in a Dj style from the intro to the main part. That thing is kind of a one trick pony but it does this trick really well and is easy to use. To do that on the DT only I would have to do either much more preparation or need one ore hand. www.youtube.com/watch?v=DGFGUwZm7co&feature=youtu.be

I think the P+W crowd represents a massive section of the market for high end gear in general, especially in the effects market. There’s not very many post-rock and shoegaze bands but basically every suburban megachurch in the US has a band of dudes with baller quad cortex/strymon setups all playing the same PRS guitar. It’s not surprising that the pedal companies have figured out where their money comes from and are marketing accordingly.

I’ve been excited to receive this, which is supposed to ship next month. Kind of a nice overall package with OD, interesting reverb and delays, and a formant filter to differentiate it: https://mentha.works/?v=0b3b97fa6688

Neo shoegaze bands trying to be Diiv have been a dime a dozen in LA for the past decade.
