Create new empty project / no samples inside / my own Name // how?

I make this a own one, since it might not be for super short 1-Re only, sorry
( no Offtopic please, like: you´d do it differently. Or: why do you want to do it in that way)

I made so far:

New Project + naming:

  • i press “project” / “create new” / it creates a new project with machine/code defined name
  • i press “settings” / i press save as / i resave and give there my own chosen name.
    Is this right now the best i can do ? No create project+name as ?

Samples in the project:

  • i WANT that my new project has not any samples loaded.

  • when i chose subtrack is it showing me…instruments ?

  • i do NOT want to have anything factory auto-available in a new project !

  • How can i load a subtrack that contains no samples, just an empty instrument ?

  1. A new empty project does not have any samples/instruments loaded, but all presets/samples/instruments on the SD card are global [across all projects], so they will show up as available to load into any project you have.
  2. It is showing you all subtrack instruments available on the SD card (once again, they’re global).
  3. If you do not want to see any factory content, I suggest use a second SD card. (Renaming the Elektron folder should also do the trick, but caveat emptor.)
  4. When you select the Subtrack src for a track, you should see a -CREATE NEW- option in the instrument list. Select this, and you should get a subtrack instrument that does not have any samples loaded.
