Copy Patterns between Machines?

I’d like to transport a Digitakt pattern to my Analog RYTM…

Is this anyway possible?

Asking for my Dad :grimacing:

no.

So, i’ll have to remake it all?

Blehh

Perhaps you can copy samples over, that could be an easier start.

You can copy audio tracks to midi tracks on the Digitakt, and use those to record into the Rytm, but choosing sounds, trig conditions, etc will still take some time.

Copying sounds is easy, I just don’t want to re-program everything again. I’m sure you all know how it is to re-make a song. It kinda loses it’s soul

I don’t think it’s possible but maybe worth a shot, have you tried elk-herd? maybe there’s some black magic that can help converting DT > AR project, but wouldn’t put too much hope in it, especially if your DT has the latest firmware that is not supported.

another option would be to utilize somehow the recent rytm sdk by @alisomay, but that would require some serious coding

Cant you at least record the midi?

recording midi won’t get plocks/trig conditions, so running step by step is inevitable anyway, and potentially more confusing…

Record the midi notes, and then add the p locks + conditions after?

I guess it depends on the complexity of the pattern
