Copy/paste multiple triggers for dummies

So far it seems that the order you press/hold the trigger buttons affects the order of the multiple trigger copy/paste function.

So always press/hold triggers one by one before pressing Copy.

For example lets say you want to copy triggers 1 - 4 to triggers 13 -16

Press and hold one by one triggers 1 to 4 then press Copy (Rec)
Now press only trigger 13 then press Paste (Stop)

If you press/hold triggers from 1 to 4 at the same time, it is most likely that at the paste time triggers will be pasted on a different order.

Have a nive pasting!

Will have a go at this in the new year. Hopefully the implementation is consistent, so that one for instance easily can reverse a motif, etc.

thanks for that, gonna try it asap.

if it’s like the A4, unable to try, it’ll also preserve gaps in selection

Sorry but no, you can´t reverse a motif that way.
If you press and hold trigs 4, 3, 2, 1 (in that order) then copy.
Then you press and hold trig 13 then paste, you´ll get.
Trig 1 copied to trig 10
Trig 2 copied to trig 11
Trig 3 copied to trig 12
Trig 4 copied to trig 13
if you press and hold trigs 4, 1, 2, 3, then paste that on trig 13 you’ll get exactly the same.
Is like the function that performs the copy holds the first trigger you press as the starting point, then the upcoming triggers are holden with their relative position to the starting point. So you´ll always get the original order when pasting.
Pressing/holding multiple triggers while pasting is pointless, the only trigger that has meaning is the first one that is used as the starting point.
