Seeing this 3 months late, but just adding I can’t shake it either.
To me this is ho-tone, all day and every day and it’s not my fault they could separate the two words (hot tone).
And no, it couldn’t be Hot One, because of the wings show. I’d be hungry all the time.
Anyone buy one of these? Sounds pretty good!
I’m the happy owner of a Poly Verbs and may be a bit biased, but I’ve tried to make as objective a comparison as possible between the Integral Dual Convolver stompbox, the Hotone NC-200 Verbera, and the Verbs based on a few videos.
My conclusion is this:
Integral Dual Convolver stompbox:
Lots of features, but a typical unnatural, clinical, digital Tasty Chips sound. 
NC-200 Verbera:
Slightly fewer features, but a better sound, though it sounds more like well-crafted algorithms. 
Verbs:
Fewest features, but a very good, organic sound. 
As I said, I may be biased, so I’d be interested to hear your thoughts.
