I’m trying to figure out how or if it is possible to control selecting patterns and starting and stopping playback via midi, preferably like with some kind of a foot controller. does anyone know how this could be done?
The Model:Samples can be set up in its CONFIG > MIDI menus to respond to:
- MIDI transport messages (Start, Stop, Continue), and
- MIDI Program Change messages to select patterns.
You just need a foot controller that offers these features. Many do. There is a lot of discussion of MIDI foot controllers and their capabilities on the forum:
