Controlling other parameters than those listed in the manual

This might seem like a dumb question, but is it possible to control other parameters than what’s in the MIDI Appendix? I’ve said it before; hardware and MIDI is very new to me…

I have a pedalboard, the Behringer FCB1010 with a EurekaPROM installed. It was given to me by a friend, and I havent used it before.
What I want is to send ON-OFF messages (momentary and toggle) to the unit, to say jump to the next or previous Pattern, activate the Fill, and Save / Reload Pattern.

But all I see in the manual seem like normal CC messages (is this what’s called Continuous Messages)

Cheers.

I havent looked up the MIDI Implementation chart of the digitakt, but usually it is not possible if not stated in there…

Yeah that’s what I figured, it just seems really strange to me that this wouldn’t work, AFAIK this is pretty standard stuff on hardware devices?

Every device has its own implementation. So if the developer does not implement it, there is no way to control via MIDI CC…

Ok, thanks fo the reply  Guess another email to feature-request is due :stuck_out_tongue:

Fill is a on the unit only function.
If you want to change patterns from an external source each pattern is a program change number. Pattern a1 is pc1 and so forth to pattern h16 which is pc128.

That’s a great pity and it would be quite productive to be able to trigger this externally :frowning:

Thanks @jefones, I guess there’s no previous/next pattern PC then? And also, you’re saying that the Fill will never ever be MIDI-assignable?
