Hi!
I am trying to control my OT via MIDI now (from Logic). I am a bit lost, it doesn’t seem to do intended, I am sure I am missing something, but what it is?
I am sending to channel 8 (which is configured as auto track). I can trigger tracks, midi tracks, samples via MIDI, that’s working fine.
I tried some CC’s though. For example the manual said CC48 is for the crossfader. But however I try, it doesn’t seem to react the same way as actually pushing the crossfader around.
Another thing: The appendix sais that “While in MIDI mode and CC DIRECT CONNECT is deactivated, the auto channel responds to the following CC messages.” Does that mean that I cannot control midi parameters (transpose example) and audio track parameters at the same time?
(What I am trying to do is to sequence it via a DAW, to have a greater perspective of the song currently in progress. Sequencing a sequencer, gotta be awesome)
