Control Octatrack using MIDI foot controller

Hi, I’m strugling to control my Octatrack using a MIDI foot controller (MVAVE Chocolate).

The footcontroller has the option to send PC, CC, etc.

When sending PC the octatrack switches correctly between patterns but when trying to, for example , to switch to the next audio track, the Octattrack shows that it’s receving the MIDI message but it’s not processing it.

How I’ve configured the pedal is: CC 11 68 127.

11 for the auto channel as configured in all Octatrack
68 for the CC
127 for the value to be sent

I’ve configured the Octatrack MIDI control in FOLLOW TM and doesn’t work.
After tweaking all the configurations in octatrack and also on the MIDI controller but I’m still not able to make the Octa process this message.

Can anyone help here? For sure I’m missing something…

What are you trying to trigger?

Is Audio CC IN enabled?

8.7.1 CONTROL
Sets how the Octatrack MKII handles certain MIDI messages.
AUDIO CC IN controls whether the audio tracks react to incoming MIDI CCs or not. Enable or disable
by pressing [YES]. When disabled no CCs will affect the audio tracks

Nonetheless, from what I see in the MIDI CC implementation you’ve shared, for sure I’ve wrongly assumed that the number beside the note is the CC param.

OK, so it seems now’s working… :grinning:
I’ve changed the pedal MIDI message from CC to NOTE ON and voilá.
