Confused OT midi arp mode sends arp on data too other midichannel

Ok Im getting really frustrated,

When I change the midi arp mode ( up, down, cycle whatever) on midi channel 4 (send to control notes on a implexus)

it then somehow controls my behringer cat by sending arp on/off messages ??
but the cat is on midi channel 15. ??

if I turn arp mode off on midi channel 4 it offcourse stops on both channels
results in just notes duh
the octatrack is set to only send midi data on chosen midi channels not auto channel what so ever

been using the octatrack since it came out never had this issue ever before
settings : no audio to midi or vice versa everything is internal except for its midi channels to control external gear.
no auto channel.
just sync start stop
and no there are no extra midi cc messages on the midi channel being used just notes and arp.

set up basic midi : OT midi out into midi in on implexus I use its midi true to go into the cat.
its or the cat responding to more midi channels or seems is in a sort of omni mode ???
cant figure it out.

or is it a OT midi bug in os 1.40 B
this is to weird even when connected straight to the cat this behaviour excist

cant figure this out its driving me nuts

resolved for now :
pffff ok somehow reloading part seems to have solved the issue really strange behaviour none the less really would like to know what causes this in the first place.

Solved ?

So to sum up turning Arp mode encoder was sending CCs to your cat ? :heart_eyes_cat:

I remember weird stuff like this with a midi track LFO depth, sent through an audio track channel ! Would need to search the thread, but reproducing bugs more than once depress me.

If it happen again, try to set audio tracks midi channels to OFF.
(MIDI > CHANNELS > OFF)

And check with a midi monitor what messages are actually sent…
