I wish I was into these games so I could buy Requiem to reward them for putting in the effort of making a great Switch 2 version ready at launch!

I played the Marathon server test last weekend, for whatever reason I really enjoyed it. And I kinda sucked and died a lot, but damn I really enjoyed that world, the sound design, figuring out all the stuff, and it was just a slice of the full game. Every run was different. But there was one run where I took out a full team of Runners, so awesome. It really is high stakes. So I dived back in and pre-ordered again. Really looking forward to the release this weekend. I donât usually play games like this but, man, super addictive. Soon as I died I was just mashing that spacebar to dive into another run. So cool.

Iâm probably playing Reanimal next. These games have a very similar style.

Great game, been playing it a lot the last few weeks! (on my mac)
For me thatâs the problem with marathon. Itâs a another live service, micro transaction, sweaty game. With additional gear and leveling wipes every season. I donât think Bungie needed another one, but they were squeezed by Sony.
If it was a single player game with a good story(like original that was based on just this modern approach) insta buy.

The good thing is that this whole live service thing obviously failed, so we could see more singleplayer games again in the next generation. But yeah, that fad killed a whole console generation when it comes to AAA games.

Yeah I think for me luckily Iâve never really played any game of this type, if anything a faff around in Destiny 2. So itâs sort of a unique play space for me.

For me they are wasting too much time, in already limited time per day.
You run around on same few maps, with same few characters, with same few guns, in a loop. No story, no nothing. If you donât play with few friends even worse.
I donât see a trill in this type of games anymore.

Apparently Sony will pull out all future single player game ports for PC.
Which sucks for pc gamers.
Capcom did great with RE Requiem. So this might empower other studios to do the same, and go back to single player hype train.

I played the demo of this. Itâs a âboomer-shooterâ with 3dfx era looking graphics. As far as the demo goes itâs really good, a bit like Warhammer Boltgun from the same dev team. You can play as the bugs also.
