Does anyone knows a compact mixer (of the VZL1202 size or slightly bigger ) with 3 or better 4 aux sends ?
Perfectly without faders (I find knobs even faster for synth / techno live set) and ideally (dream : ) with internal stereo recording / usb multitrack out.
Would love to have one to replace my 1202 in my live case.
Can they be mono sends?
You can use the 1202 for that. Two mono sends, plus stereo ALT 3+4
Or the K-Mix. Tiny, bus-powered, 8-in 10 -out, USB interface or standalone.
Hmmm… Interesting idea with ALT 3 + 4.
However, not so handy since there’s no way to control levels of “send”.
I want to use sends as effects sends to pedals, it’s good to have an aux knob per channel with the send level…
K-Mix - can’t glue with the interface unfortunately… Need oldschool board : )
Was thinking about Profx16v3, yeah a bit bigger, but still ok to take to gigs. Seems like a good one but not perfect (no stereo recording on board, multitrack option via usb is very limited, no aux returns ).

Two stereo, or two mono plus one stereo, but you have to return into channels, no dedicated returns.
How about headphone out! You can route Alt 3+4 to that, and use the control room knob to control the level. The headphone out on my 1202 is super hot, so no probs there. [Edit: Unless you’re using it for headphones, of course)
I was looking at the Pro Mackies too, for the USB, but the lack of Alt 3+4 put me off, and you need to go to the bigger size to get aux sends.
If Mackie made a USB version of the 1202 VLZ4 I’d buy it in a second.
