To help you explore the sounds, I’ve created 8 separate videos, each showcasing a different folder from the kit. These walkthroughs highlight the range and texture of the presets, offering inspiration and insight into how they can be used in your own projects.
The LA Beat scene wasn’t just a movement—it was a sonic revolution. It reshaped hip-hop, electronic music, and everything in between. My first introduction to it was in 2008, when I saw Flying Lotus, Gaslamp Killer, Teebs, and Thundercat perform in San Francisco. That night changed everything for me. It altered the way I heard rhythm, texture, and space, and ultimately transformed how I approach music production.
This is my tribute to that world. This OP-XY drum pack is packed with hip-hop and lo-fi drum presets that capture the raw, unquantized, and heavily textured feel of the scene. The filter envelope on the OP-XY is surprisingly powerful, especially when you push it to extremes. You can get some wild percussive plucks, evolving pads, and even pseudo-FM sounds just by tweaking it the right way.

Mutable Instruments Rings has always been one of my favorite sound sources. Its rich, resonant tones and organic textures make it perfect for ambient and experimental music. A while back, I made a small sound pack for the OP-XY featuring Rings, but I always felt like it needed more. So, I decided to create a deluxe version with nearly 40 presets. The Rings Redux pack has some beautiful sounds in there, but for future versions, would it be possible to record the samples without reverb or delay? I’d much prefer to be able to add my own—especially delay.

I just released a brand-new sound pack that blends the drifting ambience of Brian Eno with the cinematic weight of Vangelis—and throws in a bit of Aphex Twin weirdness for good measure.
This one is special to me. These artists shaped the way I think about sound, space, and emotion in music. I tried to channel that into a collection of presets that feel like lost machines from the ’90s—grainy, dreamy, and alive with texture.
The OP–XY version features multi-sampled patches and comes with over 120 presets: pads, leads, keys, strings, and more. It’s $20, and it includes the OP–1 Field version for free.
The OP–1 Field version is a streamlined take with 120 presets, created from single-sample versions of the same sounds. It’s available on its own for $10.

I can find the multisamples, but I’m having trouble finding the single player presets… I loaded them in into the TV under User > Presets, but on the TV when I go to File > Presets > Load, I cant find them! Sorry I don’t have much of a clue about what I’m doing here, but could you please help me find them?
