New Elektron user, loving the Digitakt so far. Ive been using a Korg Electribe music station for a while and bought a DT to extend my arsenal. Im trying to sync the Electribe and the DT.
Set the Electribe to external sync
Set the DT to send clock
Set The DT Midi out to DIN48
Connect the Midi out to the Korgs sync in
Both machines still doing their own thing.
Obvs doing something wrong somewhere but no idea what

This is your problem - DIN sync does not send MIDI messages:
“OUT PORT FUNCTIONALITY selects what type of signal the MIDI OUT port will send.
• MIDI makes it possible for the port to send out MIDI data.
• DIN 24 will make the port send DIN 24 sync pulses. No MIDI data is sent on the port when this option
is selected.
• DIN 48 will make the port send DIN 48 sync pulses. No MIDI data is sent on the port when this option
is selected.”

Ah ok thanks, I was thinking that Din48 would just send sync pulses and that would keep the electribe on point.
I’ll have another go
