Class Compliant USB Audio Interface for A4 mk1 and AR mk1?

Hi,

Will Class Compliant USB Audio Interface come to A4 mk1 and AR mk1, or there is no hope?

Cheers,
Alex

Yes, probably, in time, we’ll all just have to wait and see though

Edit - No I am unsure on the Mk1 specificity - those have problems on the USB side - so maybe not, probably no on those - but I can’t see how it won’t come to the Mk2s at some point

Can’t wait until I can use it on Linux

I can use M:S as audio interface via USB in Linux (Ubuntu) with zero problems, if that’s your doubt about it

I think mk1 and mk2 have different usb ‘tech’ …if it’s the same as digitakt then perhaps it’s possible ?

Not possibly on any octatrack though, I think that’s been ruled out somewhere.

Waiting for Godot

Correct the USB boards in the mkiis have more bandwidth which is why they can stream all channels with overbridge on the rytm mkii.

Never say never. but I wouldn’t expect it on the mki models regardless

USB compliant yes !!! Really good…yes…thats a good job…will be amazing in A. Four and Rytm will possible? …Congratulations!!!

I’d be happy with a 2 channels output audio interface, that way I can at least record the master.
If overbridge can do it why not the class compliant one?

What does “M:S” mean in this context?

Would also be happy to use AR MK-I on Linux!

(PS. @re5et: cool nickname!

M:S is the abbreviated form for Model:Samples.

Most likely not. The usb architecture if different on the mki vs mkii. It’s not even suggested that any iteration of analogs will get cca but I imagine if there were it’d be the mkii since their usb spec is probably closer to the digis
