Hi guys,
I was just wondering how do you play chords on A4?
do you use poly config or detuning the oscillators with sub on 5th?
today I tried the technique with fast arp and lots of long reverb on it,
and I can say that it can produce very satisfying pads.
you can see the example in this video:
(you can hear it best in the last minute of the clip)
its not the best pad, but I am working on it.
I need some freeze reverb
Hey guys (@sezare56, @Unifono) do you have any suggestion how to sequence longer pads?
I am having struggle making it longer then 64 steps, trying to use conditional trigs to extend it a little,
but its complicated
so my only technique for the moment is to use chains
maybe, if someone has the experience with octatrack workflow, how to sample long sample loops from A4
yes, I have tried this, but it gives me headache when I am changing patterns in combination with rytm and ot, I can never get it synced, it always starts too early or too late
It would be great if A4 has separate track divisions, like ot
Thanks!
pickup is great idea, so I can overdub the chord.
but I didnt know that you can save the sample from the pickup.
I suppose it is only 16 sec of recording? limitation of ot
