Anyone have any cool Blooper tips? I’m finding it really fun to make samples for the digitakt but also everything sort of sounds very similar. Considering swapping for a gen loss since I’m just flavoring samples with it rn anyways. Here’s my mess rn:
Is the mention of “loopy” a clue?
That was my first thought as well. But as there are no buttons shown at the bottom of the pedal, I doubt it’s a blooper 2. Unless they completely changed how it works.
Also they said last year that Blooper 2 is not in the works.
Stereo Dark world would be cool but does a reverb match the description of “so fun”?
Have you ever shouted the words “so fun!” into a very large cave?
I’m surprised they haven’t leveraged those blooper buttons on all of the recent devices (mood mk2, habit, lossy, rev mode c) that have pretty robust and sometimes clunky sub menus with extra features. They’ve squeezed a ton out of that pedal format and giving a little extra tactile control without having to hold down both switches would be great. All that is to say I say agree it’s probably not a blooper 2
No way its Blooper 2.
He said “BURSTING” and there are pictures of rain on the instagram post. Don’t know what that means but made me think of wet reverb.
Then there’s the mention of “loopy”.
Maybe some kind of granular reverb micro-looper, but that just sounds like Mood…
Probably more clues to come today.
Whelp, I know what I’m doing on lunch today.
My guess: it makes blips and bloops, sounds a bit lo-fi and has dipswitches. Oh and it’s stereo now. 580€.
A sound on sound looper with time lag / pitch shift at the press of a button … plus some verb and drolo choppy built in
Record lead, rhythm and bass lines
I hope it’s another loss pedal as that’s the last thing I would need on my pedal board (with lossy and gen loss 2 on it)
Gen Lossy MK III confirmed!
My guess is I’ll know I dont need it, know I’d never need it, curse at the price and then order it.
Same, only I hold you responsible. I was a perfectly operational human until you sold me your Habit.
Do you like Habit? People seem to have mixed feelings about it. I’m quiet intrigued by it, as I’ve started to move towards more sample based music making
This will test my recently made statement that I’m not getting more hardware anytime soon.
I know you’re watching me @brucegill and will hold me accountable
I like the Habit pedal sitting in its box in the big pile of other Chase Bliss pedals in their boxes that I love owning but very rarely get out and use so yes?
Semi JK. I do love them for getting them out and doing some weird guitaring and will sometimes stick them on a synth for fun but they exist in their own little domain and I rarely use them on any music I ‘release’ (disclaimer: I view this as very much a me ‘problem’ than a chase bliss one)
Do not forget your commitment to boycotting that awful, TARDIS format!
I don’t even remember saying that but now I’m totally into ditching whatever this abomination is, as well
