Chase Bliss effects pedals

A demo by Rhett Shull saying “I can’t show you what’s making this sound yet, but I think you’ll find out in a few days. (It’s not the Octatrack)”.

It’s also liked by CB.

Definitely has two sides. One being a very synthwave-ish delay and then the other is some sort of onward freeze vibe. Seems like he’s able to buffer through the “freeze” side. Maybe some granular thing going on?

Sorry fellas, these are all insta :joy:

Stereo thermae with digital components instead of analog.

Red, Pitch. It’s their “version” of Eventide Micropitch, H910, Meris Hydra, etc. Ok, I’m excited by the idea…

That’s exactly what I was thinking it sounds like!
I have the H9 (crystals ~ harpegiator) so, :frowning: that’s why I sold the Hydra a week after I bought it.

Possible false alarm? Sounds like this new mxr release is doing a lot of the same things

Looks close to Mood 1, but color is slightly off. Hmm

I thought this. But ended up owning Mood mkI and mkII.

New instagram clip from CBA (I don’t know how to embed, saw this on Gearpage) clearly shows that its 1 new pedal, and 1 new colorway of Lost + Found, FYI.

Yeah Octatrack sure is versatile but it does not do what the Mood does

I don’t think anything does - really

Sure many things are granular but the hands on performance aspect of the Mood MK2 is unparalleled imo

Sure you can turn it on, let it run and get beautiful granular goodness but the real magic imo is in turning those knobs live. Growing, shrinking, stretching the material. It’s crazy

Also when I say live, I mean live as in a live performance. I’m constantly interacting with mine when I play. It’s positioned so I can adjust things with my big toe while playing

That would take forever to set up on the octa and things like the microcosm are really set an forget which I don’t like

Same, although I use my hands.

with you entirely, probably my favourite hardware. I do similar tweaking for band stuff, adding expression pedal. Sometimes have one on the floor during electronic solo sets too for best of both worlds.

new teaser has me hyped with this radio concept…feels/sounds like a potential bridge to the Habit ‘scan’?

I get tired, saturated and bored with all that similar stuff that is demoed only with single notes and chords but they show no evidence that these pedals are useful in music beyond ambient walls of sounds.
Same here:

Granular is the pedal builders dream: dirt cheap to make, but sounds expensive!
