Changing SD SRC is changing BD too

I have a new kit (kit 11) in a project. I’ve made a bass drum sound I like and saved it as “Attack FM”. I move on to the snare sound (SD pad red, BD pad dark) and double-tap SRC/press cursor down to change it from SD Hard to SD Natural.

The BD pad also changes to SD hard? I’ve tried reloading the project, turning machine off and on again, but SRC of TRK 2 always changes TRK 1 in lockstep! This goes for every parameter, tuning included, and is mighty irritating.

I can work around it by reloading my saved sound but am I doing something wrong here?

Do you have a MIDI feedback loop that’s sending CC’s?

@mekohler @sezare56 thanks both, that’s precisely it; I have it going into a Logic External Instrument plugin. On other projects I had turned Encoder Dest to INT only from INT+EXT, but hadn’t done it for this project.

Since I’m using it as a simple non-chromatic DAW drum machine in this project, I set the External Instrument to only respond on the default Auto Ch 14 and this got rid of the problem.

I used that midi loopback to control all the tracks at once (Control All). A normal Global slot to make individual settings, and a Control All slot.
