I just saw this news on the Elektron site.

I bought a brand new Octatrack yesterday and came home to see this so I tweeted at them and they said it only applies to direct orders. Thanks for punishing me for being lucky enough to have a local store.
Are the becoming mad there over in Sweden?
They are fucking up customer service in an eye blink. I keep reading about a conerning lack of customer care.
This not giving the free pack, because you didnât order direct(so they do have time to fullfil orders) is just insane.
Maybe you should be glad that you got an answer at all.

Iâm thrilled with mine. I just got rid of my A4 and itâs so good to be able to have a head start with the sequencer.

I ordered one direct⌠and it sent me a download link in an email that said will expire in 3 days? anyway - it said it should be in my customer zone but itâs not. I will open a support but I am guessing it will likely get ignored⌠bummer.

I got in touch and after proving my proof of purchase, they sent me the SiD pack - yay!

I tweeted at them and when they replied saying it was for direct orders only, I contested. When I received no reply to that, I followed-up and directly asked them to address it. Maybe I was just annoying enough?

Call me bitter, but after waiting so long for my OT I feel like they should toss in a freebie sound pack for anyone who waited for months on end to get a new OT this year. Good that they were willing to give one to someone who bought it outside of their terms, but after months of waiting, emails, and phone calls while my money sat in limbo Iâm a bit nonplussed. I could have been making lots of music if my thumbs werenât up my ass for those six months.
