this damn device has a grid edit view!!!
i like that this thing is legitimately super portable like the op-z. no knobs to break.
Some details at 1:05. I wish I knew how many tracks can be sequenced. Looks like only 6 in the view, but maybe its a scrollable view that covers 8 ? 16 ?
EDIT: Found the answer: 16 tracks x 16 steps x 1-8 measures
Does look actually suprisingly decent, need to look into this more.
The video was really basic, but the glimpse show there’s actual potentual and thought behind it. FX are OK but really need a better listen than the inbuilt speaker he was using.
God damn it’s retro sexy af. Love it
Weird and cool. Unsure whether it will actually be any good but I like it.
Casio probably very annoyed about the MPC Sample release.
Looks like it’ll be more limited than MPC Sample. Still looks cool tho.
If @trash80 will create a M8 with 16 pads he’ll dominate the market even more :))
No pitching / key playing of the samples it seems? That’s a bit disappointing, looking great otherwise, especially at this price tag!
Why can’t we get decent battery life on these little samplers? 2 hours is not much. I would love to have something like this but it’s competing with an old iPhone I keep just for music making and that battery lasts all day
yeah I be more interested how much they support the device after release and iterate upon it with updates.
Yeah that be awesome, as much as I loathe Polyend. The tracker was on the right idea with the pads and being able to use them as keys etc.
It’s probably 2hrs with regular batteries. If you put in Eneloops it’s probably 3 at least.
The text on that screen looks really tiny, honestly. And I don’t quite understand the placement of the A/B/C/D buttons. Seems like they are in a weird order. But curious to see this in person. Seems like it could steal some folks away from the SP404mk2 as well. Not me personally, but maybe some folks!
What is this? A sampler for children?
So wheres the preorder pages then, I thought it was yesterday that it all went live?
I suspect it’s only in JP
