Just got my Digitakt the other day and I was pressing all the buttons, just messing around and trying to figure things out but when I try to hit the live mode to record a sequence nothing plays and nothing happens. I got it so it will go through the 16/16 with the clear and copy lit up. When I exit out of this mode it can play the individual samples. Also, I checked that to see if it was in unmute mode. Not really sure how the triggers work so maybe it’s that?
use record+play to enter live recording mode. the record button should be blinking then.
it does not blink when I press it. it still lit red

You have to press it in the right way - hold copy, press clear, then lift your fingers. Record light should then blink red, and you’re in live recording mode. No?
(the movement takes a little practice, but becomes very natural in time)
So that worked, but when I go to play the sequence after doing that I still get no sound?
When you go in Grid Recording mode (press Record/Copy once), are the trigs red? If they are, maybe your track is muted, you should check the 2 mute modes (hold FUNC, press BANK to cycle through them).
Note that you can still play the tracks live even if they are muted.
So the triggers light up, and I’ve checked to see if I’m mute mode by cycling through with the func+bank. But when I have the record and clear lit up why doesn’t it trigger, or play?
