I’m still struggling with sound management on the DN. I have to admit i really don’t get the logic of its organization.
I’m willing to have a consistent sound over 2 patterns for track 4. I copy track 4 on pattern 1 and paste it on pattern 2 buy it doesn’t change the sound of it (stays on Init sound).
Am i missing something or is it really that counter intuitive?
To copy a sound on the Dt (from what I recall its the same on the Dn)
You have to
Hold TRK when holding the track number from where you want to copy the sound
When holding the buttons
Now hold FUNC and press copy
Answering my own question: unlike with the OT, i need to press the track T4 + copy/paste to copy the sound.
Now i wonder what copying track would actually copy (provided that copy pattern would copy the trigs sequence).
The lack of consistency across the whole Elektron range is always baffling me…
