Cannot transfer from A4 to C6

I just read a post about backing up the entire +drive, and tried to do it but i’m having problems.

I’ve discovered that i can’t send anything from the A4 to C6, the A4 screen shows that it is transmitting data but C6 does not respond in any way. Ive tried to send the entire +drive and also individual sounds but nothing works, not even from the actual sysex dump menu.

Sending the other way works fine, i can transfer sounds from C6 to the A4 +drive with no problem.

Does anyone have any idea what is going wrong?

I just did transfers both ways just now as I was having problems BUT I checked midi config and set midi to USB only as mine was set to MIDI/USB.
All was solved after that.

MIDI output was set to MIDI only, changing it to USB fixed it! :slight_smile:
