That’s exactly what I did - bought a Max and a Core. It’s a very good way to go.
Each pedal (Max and Core) has the same DSP Power?
Identical hardware.
Yeah, you can even buy a core and add different algorithms as you go if you want a few more without paying all out on a max.
When you buy the standart version, you get more algos and more presets (Core only has 25 presets, 99 on the standart Harmonizer).

I did exactly the same. Space and later H9 because I couldn’t choose between pitchfactor or timefactor. Haven’t regretted it one sec.
I really like the editor and often use it on my computer but I find the UI of the H9 really good and often tweak parameters on the fly. It helps to have a mental map of the app or other eventide pedals but it’s really quick and easy to change some parameters.
