Hello. I just got my Syntakt on Saturday after owning a Model:Cycles for two years and I think it might be my favorite thing ever. I did read the manual last week but I just wanted to see if a couple things are possible that I might have missed:
-Can I copy ALL of the track sounds in a pattern to another pattern at once instead of doing it one by one? The Model:Cycles has kits so it’s easy to save all the track sounds into a folder and then load them into any pattern. I know this thing doesn’t have kits or even folders but I wasn’t sure if there was another way. So when I go back and tweak some sounds on one pattern and want to apply them to all the others, I don’t have to do each track sound on each pattern one at a time.
-Also, you can switch the external audio from stereo to “two mono signals”, but there’s no way to independently set the levels for each mono signal in the mixer, right? My current hardware setup consists of the Syntakt and two other mono-output synths, and I thought it would be cool to run them both through the Syntakt for the FX block as well as bypassing my hardware mixer entirely. But it might not be ideal if I can’t mix them independently, or especially if I can’t, for example, have delay on one but not the other.
I’m kind of assuming the answer to both of these questions is “no” but I have been regularly surprised over the last few days by what this thing can do even after reading the manual. Either way, it’s a whole new world coming from the Model:Cycles, and there’s already numerous quality of life features that I desperately wanted with that.
