I’ve been diving deep into sampling straight from vinyl and flipping those raw sounds into boom bap beats using the Octatrack. If you’re into gritty drums, dusty loops, and that old-school vibe, this might be up your alley.
I walk through how I sample from records, chop things up, and build a beat from scratch all on the Octatrack. It’s not a typical workflow, but that’s what makes it so fun and powerful.
