Every time I see a VCS3 going for an astronomical price, I think “It’s sooo not worth that much money” and then I realise mine is still sitting here despite any such valuation, so I guess it must be, or I’d have felt compelled to cash in.

I’ll borrow it if you’re not using it.

If it were, I’d be wondering why I forgot to add in my DK2 keyboard for another 5 boobies. :kissing_heart:

I love the ‘Knockoff’ description. Not clone, knockoff!

Sure, no problem. Just send me your account number, social security number and a copy of your passport!

Account number: 86571…wait, are you having me on?

I wouldn’t spend £15k on one, I have sooooo many other things that I need (that you could also buy me )!

this one confuses me. the link says “Reproduction of original VCS3 circuitry designed in 1970” but I’ve read elsewhere that they confirmed nothing internally would be Synthi-like at all.

Of course not. It happens to be that a relative of yours, mr Alfred _Layer has passed away, and left you a large fortune.

As soon as I get your information my assistant will contact you. But there will be a “small fee in advance” to be able to release your funds. No scamming! I promise!

MoogyFans (dependent on your pronunciation)?
And another thing, Moog are having their cake and eating it.
if Moog was pronounced Mowg, what about Mowgerfowgers?

I only want to touch synths I feel an intellectual connection with, does that make me sapiosynthual?

Im not an expert on these things but i think its just semantics. All the bullet points seem to cover most bases and it will look the same mostly. Put it his way if owned an original I would be selling very quickly if i wanted to make a few bucks .

nah, they’ll probably still increase in value as they have been for years. generally the clones have had that effect. the only exception being the re-issues Korg has done (ARP, and their own).

anyway, it’ll be interesting if it does actually have VCS3-cloned circuitry inside. that’s one thing people wish Erica had done with the Syntrx.

I lust for MANY different synths in life, but never felt any urge at all for a VCS3.

Any good rehab centers for this, preferably in Scandinavia?
