Just so you feel safe - elk-herd is using the official method: It uses the exact same commands with the Digitakt that Transfer and C6 use. The files it creates are byte for byte identical to what you’d get using C6 or some other SysEx librarian. (Transfer doesn’t transfer projects, only sounds!).

ok. I thought it was more “beta” than that 
, being a developer myself.
Anyway, thank you, I just re-tested with your method and it seems fine, all my sample slots are there, as well as trigs and whatnot. I’ll be happy to jump on the elk-herd train soon.
