change out USB cable, make sure you have not overloaded the USB bus
The C6 recognizes any other USB gear
I have zero other USB gear connected so I think itās not overloaded.
MIDI+USB wonāt do anything
I was having a lot of the same issues as everyone else here (though Iām using an A4, not an AR).
What worked for me was going into the C6 āconfigureā and unchecking āuse extended sdsā and unchecking āsend sps1uwā¦ā. I only have āuse sds handshakeā checked. As soon as I changed that I was able to load all the sound packs into my A4.
HI, i just had this problem 3 days ago, i read some post on this site tried a number of things.
First thing even when the drivers where present when i checked the system they had not installed correctly, so i deleted the drivers and reinstalled them.
This did not work for me, deleted the drivers again and tried the following.
What worked was connecting the A4 through the overbridge hub, worked straight away.
And then when i plugged the A4 in to the hub the drivers reinstalled for the A4 all all worked fine.
tbh these options all relate to SDS sample transfers - they should not affect sysex transfers to A4 at all. though could be that thereās some issue there, would be pretty wonky tho tbh.
Thatās the only thing I changed. It went from not working, to working flawlessly as soon as I unticked those boxes.
interesting!
For anyone still having these problems, do not waste your time with C6, itās never worked once for me.
Download Sysex Librarian, itās free
Then: Menu on top of UI > Select your machine > Drag and drop sysex file onto UI > Hit send > YOUR DONE
