Bypassing the headphone amplifier

hey,

would it be difficult to modify the electronics so the headphone is a mono line signal.
wether its left or right does not matter.

so you need a mono output from the HP socket?

I’d never modify the internal circuit.

Instead i would use a cable to sum L+R to one conductor…but once more: what do you need exactly or what’s the purpose?

^ this is best (+gain correction), but if you are in a hurry, just plug a mono cable in ! then adjust the gain to suit your needs, simpler than voiding your warranty
