I just purchased a used Machinedrum MK2 (non-UW), though buttons 12 to 16 do not work (have tried in test mode also). Does anyone have any ideas?

I have just tried re-seating the internal connectors, though unfortunately that did not work, I will also try to deoxidise the connectors and lightly clean the board with an ESD brush and Isopropyl Alcohol (there is quite a bit of grime and dust throughout).
Does anyone have any idea which part of the board is likely causing the failure of these 5 buttons in particular? I assume since they are all in a row, there is something upstream that has failed.

Your guess is very likely, unless maybe there was a water spill on that part of the MD. If it is an upstream failure maybe one pin of the input multiplexer has gone out or one of the components in the multiplex circuit. Unfortunately, there’s no schematics available from Elektron but I imagine this would be a pretty easy issue to fix as the boards are only two sided.
