Bug on Syntakt after update: TRK2 gets values from TRK5

I have SY TONE preset #123 on TRK 2.
I have SY TONE preset #456 on TRK 5.

When I change a knob on TRK 5 from any of the settings; TRIG, SYN, FIL, AMP or LFO. Then TRK2 has that same value. The other way around from TRK2 to TRK5 this doesn’t happen.

Video is not allowed to be uploaded.

What does it mean “preset #123”?

Is it reproducible when only power cable connected to Syntakt?

SY TONE Random preset 1 that I saved and SY TONE Random preset 2 that I saved.

Watch overdrive parameter in TRK5 being changed and then TRK2 has that value.
power cable has nothing to do with it.

Do you have ‘Track Relations’ setup where TRK.5 is controlling TRK.2?

This is a new feature in OS 1.40.

i assumed that just dealt with note trigger, not mirroring all of the parameters or changes .
but … worth a check.

it may be just a classic bug that needs to be sent to elektron.

@TheRealJimmyDeluxe I would try disconnecting all MIDI cables. It could be a MIDI CC loop. That’s why I was asking if the problem still happens when only the power cable is connected to the Syntakt.

Same advice as with ANY weirdness like this:

a) Disconnect all cables (you did that)

b) Load a different project/make a new project. See if it happens there.

c) Upload a project file so other people can try it.
